How does the glow technology work?
In essence, phosphorescence is a process in which energy absorbed by a substance is released relatively slowly in the form of light. This mechanism is used for "glow-in-the-dark" materials, which are "charged" by exposure to light. The +Charge- material that we developed is of higher quality than you would have seen before and gives a better glow for a longer time than any other glow-in-the-dark sports product out there.
How is this ball different from those fluro coloured balls?
Fluro coloured products use a technology called fluorescence and re-emit ultraviolet light (or black light) straight away and only glow when they are exposed to a black light or ultraviolet light. Our +Charge- products, however, keep emitting light (glowing) in any dark area after any light exposure (charging).
